2015-16 Schedule Dates

nice. so according to those guys ... you know, who actually looked at the rosters instead of the name of the school ... both of those schools were projected to win their conferences and dance.
I assume our coaches did the same level of research.

According to Jon Rothstein, the A10 conference schedule with dates and times comes out tomorrow.

I am really hoping we get the Lambs at our place on a Saturday. It's been too many years since that happened.

only 2 of our OOC have shown up so far this year (#78-144) - #105 WFU & #123 JMU- the first two games.

According to kenpom, who has the most accurate preseason rankings I have been able to find (he takes into account returning players, recruits, transfers and average program strength), our OOC opponents finished on average 33 spots higher than predicted. Only 3 of our OOC opponents performed worse than they were predicted to by kenpom, Southern Alabama (298->299), Wake (104->124) and Northeastern (102-115). Our OOC opponents as a whole performed significantly better than any reasonable and well informed person could have predicted.

Schedule out on the website. 12 OOC games. I wonder if the athletic staff is still trying to get another game.

Last sentence in the article - "Richmond basketball will be adding one more non-conference game to the schedule. That game along with complete times and television information will be released at a later date."

So it appears our first six A-10 games are 4 at home and 2 away (one at Fordham).

And the Stetson game got moved up...

Last year the first stretch of out A10 slate was the hardest, the second half was much easier. This year it will likely be the opposite, hopefully we can pull out to an early lead an maintain it.

It looks like UR & WVU should be able scout each other. Not only both playing BCU & Stetson, they play JMU three days after we do.

I'm worried they couldn't fill the last slot especially now that they're releasing game times. But clearly said we would add another game. Failure imo if we don't. Very possible we were competing for that iona game based on date & URI got it. But hopefully there are still teams needing quality game. I don't know it's late. Anybody hear any rumors? We could still use 1 more solid game, we don't want another low rpi game. If you have team that you expect to compete for NCAAs you get 31 games.
