Walz played like garbage. He got the minutes he deserved last night. Beagle played soft. He got the minutes he deserved. AP was completely ineffective, and his shooting form is worse -- he seems to now contort himself in his set up and is pointing his chest sideways. The worst thing that can happen for us is Tyne making two shots early, because then he doesn't stop. His shot selection is abysmal, and as others have mentioned, he is simply incapable of running offense to get other people open. He runs it to get himself open.

B. Artis looked good, GWIII did fine, Soulis was solid, Roche was dependably Roche, and Tanner was pretty good as well.

I'd be starting BAW and giving Tyne about 10 mins a game total, except for the fact that Tyne has 2 more years eligibility and BAW is done in about 10 games.

If VCU just plays its normal game, & we play our normal game, then I suspect we'll get drubbed. With VCU's loss to St L this week coupled with our down year in general & with lackluster play last night at GW, I just don't see a close game. To keep the hidden homers happy, I'll say all of us based in reality are with you, and want nothing more than an upset.

Trump has reached a new low, even for him. At his news conference after your post, he actually started out for the first few minutes expressing concern and sympathy for the victims and thanking all of the first responders. Then he quickly degraded to typical MAGA Trump, falsely blaming, without any evidence, this disaster on Obama, Biden, Buttigieg and DEI. I'm sure his cult followers will believe his lies.

Message after the last game from Bob Black was just how close the league is and if you win a couple, you can go from play-in to being in position for a Top 4. True, but we have lost 6 in a row, and are going in the wrong direction. Hey Bob and Mooney apologists, we are in last place in the A-10. 15th. We are going to be playing in the pillow fight division at the A-10 tourney.

The VCU game will dispel any lasting myth that we are one of the worst, possibly the worst team in the A-10 this year. But I'm sure the apologists will still find a way to tell us, what we all see is really not as bad as it looks. News flash, it is. We are terrible. We have 5 Division 1 wins, it is February. Truly one of the worst programs in the country this year.

Moon is 2-14 at VCU. His average loss there is 15 pts. His closest losses at VCU are 7 & 8 pts. Every other loss is by double digits. U will hear all about competing and the challenges vcu brings from Moon. I think our frontcourt will be fine next year. the 5's are all solid. I still think we might have something in AP. plus the shirts.

but to be any good we'll need 2 dynamic players in the backcourt. if it's not going to be Tyne and GW3, then 2 of the true freshmen better be ready. or we have to land someone in the portal.
