I am being told we wanted to offer Dave Clawson the opportunity to return to UR. A very sweet package was put together, he considered it for some time before he turned it down. I understand we spoke to Beamer, but it never got to the level of an offer. I'm told JM really wanted someone with HC experience this time to bring some more stability to the program. I gather Rocco was on the list very early. I will say I kept hearing about a guy with NFL experience. Guess we know who it was now.
