I honestly can't believe we are going to win tonight. However, our resume still isn't good enough for the NCAA tournament. Losing to Dayton and anyone else is unacceptable.

Tonight was the most fun I’ve had watching UR basketball in a long time. Love it.
I am glad we won this game. But Mooney has go to get these guys ready. Winning a suppose Super Bowl against VCU. We haven't finished the goal.

Being at both games live, last nights was even more fulfilling with the very large and amazing Spider crowd …
The fans were amazing and I’ve almost lost my voice. Tons of VCU fans there and they were hot😂 I loved every min of it. Love to shut the other fans up in home game type atmospheres.
I'm so glad that the parents and families were there and got to enjoy this VERY satisfying win. There's really nothing better than shutting up the great unwashed that are the VCU fans.

Very satisfying all the way around. I hope we duplicate that effort today (and tomorrow). But if we don't, at least we had one GREAT GAME to remember the season by.
great to knock out vcu - tho I’m in no way convinced of that still a bubble team there is always 1 sorta surprise bid & they may have committee covid sympathy from last year too.
quick turnaround today. Half day fun vs. a couple weeks of exciting coach search then 6+ months of excitement anticipation of a season w said new coach. Nah I don’t do that trade!

I hope they come out and hit Dayton in the mouth. That Rhody game could have so easily gone the other way and I’m hoping that the Spids now have confidence going into this one that they just take control from the jump.
so you’ll give me what like 500-1 odds then? We talked about this on other thread. They were literally first out on bracket matrix yesterday. A loss to us hurts but doesn’t kill them completely. Not a good chance maybe 20% but they’ll be under discussion.

look I never said they had good odds just better than what getting credit for. Look at Dayton. First team out. We knocked them out presumably. Tho if we lost to Davey maybe they were in. Committe was never giving A10 3 bids.
& nobody had Dayton close. They were in 2 of the final 100 brackets on bracket matrix. Two. & vcu resume was quite close to theirs. There’s a surprise like that every year. In hindsight of course I should have said Dayton over vcu. But I didn’t want to be kicked in the nuts surprised if it were vcu either.

There were a few at the game today. Asked them who they were playing in the NCAAs and could see the pain in their eyes when I asked it. Loved it!
I noticed a few sitting with the Davidson fans. What a bunch of losers, go home, your team is out of it.
