Ive been pessimistic about this team earlier. Couldn't be happier that these group of guys proved me wrong again! Regardless of what happens against Iowa, this has been a wild and magical ride!

What a day. I have been as critical as anyone about this program over the last few years but put all that criticism aside and hate for Mooney/the administration aside just for today and drove up to DC for the game. That was the BEST Richmond game I’ve ever been too and am over the ****ING moon rn. Don’t delete the curse words, we deserve to leave those in today. The last 11 years still piss me off to know end but happy for these guys that stuck it out for 5/6 years to finally get a chance. This whole week has been one of the best sports weeks for me ever in general seeing tech win the ACC and then driving up to DC for the game today. Won’t give mooney too much credit though. Hats off to the guys!

Hey Spiders! Congratulations on being A10 Champions getting to the big Dance. The team overcame and are winners. Coach Mooney out coached everyone in the tournament and deserves major kudos. I honestly think y’all can beat Iowa and go deep in the bracket. Best wishes to the team and congratulations to the Spider faithful.

Crazy how they value Michigan/Rutgers Big10 mediocrity over really good mid majors with great resumes. No reason to have 9 teams from Big10. None Zero Zip. Explain how it makes the tourney better.

Thanks Ram Bal, but I think Gilyard told the team to screw the Princeton Globetrotter crap and let’s go inside and attack the basket with floaters, drives down the lane and rebounds. They tied VCU in rebounds, only -3 to Dayton and out rebounded Davidson by 3. We would have been -10 avg rebounds to these teams if Burton hadn’t thrown caution to the wind and defied Mooney and crashed the boards and got 39 rebounds himself. The kids overcame the “Mooney Choke” four nights in a row. I wish these kids had the epiphany much sooner. They beat the best the A-10 had and deserve to be in the NCAA.
What an awesome day. And being there, our crowd was amazing and more alive than I have ever seen a Richmond crowd. Full on "Jump Around" energy a bunch of times in the second half and people losing their minds. Amazing.
Few have been tougher on Mooney than me, but kudos to him and the team for this run. It's what we all knew they were capable of, really nice to see them pull it off in such impressive fashion.
