Well Munchkin got his way after loading the board with a bunch of list cause attitude folks who did not renew the first black sup of VMI.
Why might you ask………
I grew up in affirmative action and am ok with trying to overturn the failure of the courts to support Black Americas during Jim Crow and the lost cause. I did not care for DEI as it seems to be a minority group trying to jam their social values down our throats. I am opposed to males acting like females in sport competition. I saw my own college sports titled ix from existence. In exchange, I got to see two nieces compete as spiders. The women have made great headway and deservedly so. Why now throw up roadblocks?
Back to Cedric Winn, he was highly praised by his colleagues in the Pentagon.
So why was he not renewed?

Well in my case, the folks I am comfortable with aren't necessarily qualified for being the Joint Chief of Staff. I admit some of them have cutie nicknames although not on the level of "Mad Dog" Mattis" or "Razin” Caine but they don't have the qualifications other than the comfort factor. I submit more than a few of Trump's inner circle are simply (as I have stated before) affirmative action hires based solely on blind fealty to Trump.

VMI is certainly unique. I respect the school and in college loved beating the h out them. They never quit and came back for more. One of my coaches, in a tirade, after a loosely played close victory, (not against VMI) issued an insult, “if I Coached VMI, they would beat the s out of you. They are so disciplined.”
They graduate as disciplined citizens.
They do not need to be living or teaching in Gone with the wind attitude.
If you read any of the postings on Reddit or exposed in some private chats when Winn was appointed you would shake your head in disbelief.

Anyone knew Sam Witt? Maybe some of u Richmond lawyers because I believe he worked & lived in Richmond for part of his career. Dedicated to vmi. Served on BOV including as President. Good man. Passed away a couple years ago but would be curious to know his thoughts.
