VCU has had a presence in Qatar and a strong relationship since 1998. Qatar is a noted supporter of Iran and has its fingerprints in multiple terrorist operations. The VCU Arts school in Qatar has an endowment greater than $3 billion. Just how much influence does Qatar have at Broad Street U? On the other hand, I would hate for VDU to corrupt the Qataris.
