UR vs. Towson

They have had the week off to get healthy and ready. I expect a dog fight Saturday. I don't bet but +14.5 seems good. I hope it is the preverbal suckers bet. Go Spiders.

B Sun guy did have a biting edge.Almost wise guy critique of Ambrose and his team. Can you imagine JOC trying that BS on Danny?

Sure Ambrose will try those Seawolve jet sweeps.

Yea, but this time we know they are going to do it. I think the D will be ready for Towson. Much more worried about some different special team wrinkles Ambrose may have.

So, another CSN-MA game. Long timeouts for those of us in attendance. :)

I think every one of our home games is televised this year. Would gladly trade some of those for road TV games...

Until and unless we get some things fixed every game remaining on the schedule is going to be tough. Makes for entertaining games, we must win all the home games and most of the away if we're getting into the playoffs. It's a tough conference Just look at the Elon game against Bill and Mary in Williamsburg.

Towson has always been a mystery to me. In my years 2005-09 they seem to play us extremely well but had mediocre seasons. Then for two or three years they were competitive in CAA. I thought they were on the verge of becoming a top tier program. I think we win but we do not need to take them likely.

They had that big running back for a few years - West was his name, I think? He was a difference maker for them.

we have shown that we can be really good and also pretty bad. unlike uva, all of our conf foes will scout us, know us better and play us tougher.

Terrance West was an all-time good FCS football player. He was one TD away from breaking the all-time FCS touchdown record.....and he left for the NFL after 3 seasons.

I don't disagree with your point but I think the place has looked pretty good for the first 2 games. I spent most of the 2nd quarter of the Colgate game in the kids zone. Looking up at the stands from down there was an impressive scene.

Early in the season, but don't believe it is hyperbole to say - this is a must win game. Can't start conference play 0-2 and expect to be a seeded playoff team. Possible, but highly unlikely.

Say Spiders get it done. Team is due for a complete game - O, D and ST- GO Spiders!

And that's the point, you were in the fun zone instead of in your seat. I bet most of the empty "blue" seats are people who are upstairs in the presidents skybox. And who are those folks in the B-3 lot ( that I can see from my east side seats), who tailgate the entire game? I mean, why even have a ticket? And I thought that lot is for the hardcore Spiders.
