I listened to the end of the vcu game yesterday on the radio and I was amazed how unprofessional those guys were. I have listened to them before and it makes me wonder how coked out those guys get before they go broadcast a basketball game. In contrast BOb Black and Beckwith are true professionals and are some of the best in the business at what they do. I think you'd be hard pressed to find others who are as good as our broadcast crew is. Just felt like sharing my opinion on this.

Agreed all around. Bobby Bobbinson and his partner are jackwads who are complete homers and who let that get in the way of their commentary. I listened to the game yesterday too. Every foul against VCU was a terrible call, according to Ashby (the color man). Really? EVERY ONE? Morons.

I remember the one call yesterday he was saying it was one of the worst calls in the history of basketball or something like that. He went on and on about it for like 2 minutes. I can't recall anyone on our broadcast crew doing that.

I thought it was just me being snarky about anything VCU but seriously those guys sound like they did a ton of blow just before they went on air. Have thought that for a long time. You can throw in their PA announcer in that category as well.

You just want to tell them all to "Chill the f**k out".

I think everyone likes their own announcers and hates listening to the competition's. Just a little external perspective....

Yes. You have to expect a certain amount of homerism in a teams radio broadcast. Shoot, even Bob and Beck, who are awesome do it.

I honestly don't know how VCU fans listen to those 2 clowns though. Yes, I do know because they are perfectly emblematic of the "show" that they have created down there. All about marketing and saying how great you are, very little in class and style department.

Look up vcu basketball highlights on YouTube and those cokeheads should come up. Their signature phrase is screaming "bullseye" as loud as possible every time they make a three.
