WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Led by a goal and an assist from three different players, UNCW posted a 5-1 victory over Richmond in exhibition women's soccer action at UNCW Soccer Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Seahawks bolted to a 2-0 lead in the game's first 45 minutes. Junior Audrey Harding opened the scoring in the 21st minute with an unassisted marker before redshirt junior Grace Hersey converted passes from freshman Emily Moxley and sophomore Kendall Augsburg with 1:23 left in the opening period.

Junior Grace Bondurant upped the Seahawks' advantage to 3-0 less than two minutes into the second half when she tallied a goal off passes from Harding and senior Dominique Martinez.

Richmond trimmed the deficit to 3-1 in the 50th minute when freshman Gianna Lucchesi scored off an assist from senior Brooke Beam. But, the Seahawks answered with two more markers as Martinez scored in the 58th minute before redshirt junior Lauren Ellis converted a Hersey feed with 7:48 remaining.

Junior Sydney Schneider tallied three saves in the win for UNCW in 60 minutes while redshirt freshman goalkeeper Anna Johnston played the final 30 minutes.

Game Notes: The start of the game was delayed two hours due to inclement weather ... UNCW limited Richmond to just one shot in the second half ... Four different goalkeepers saw action for the Spiders in Saturday's exhibition.

Up Next: The Seahawks complete their exhibition schedule on Friday, Aug. 16, with a 7 p.m. fixture against in-state foe UNCG at UNCW Soccer Stadium.
