Let's give a big shout out to Northern Iowa in their game tomorrow, cause we want a national semi-final game in our Brick House! Great W, Spiders!

Absolutely tremendous game by the offense. Jacobi Green Came in third?????????????
Defense played extremely well in the first half. The defensive backs were horrendous in the fourth quarter. Whoever the defensive mastermind is should be left to walk home from Illinois. That prevent defense is completely worthless. I hope they can come up with something else for next week.
Again a great, great game by the offense. Green was his magnificent self and the receivers made lauletta look all world.
Tomorrow everybody cheer for Northern Iowa.

I realize the pass defense late in the game seems frustrating, but the D was protecting a lead. The Spider D was trying to keep receivers in front and make tackles to keep the clock moving. That being said, you have to credit the defensive squad and coaches for the job they did against Coprich and the vaunted ISU run game.

They did make it to 32-27. It was still pretty close.

Having Deanthony Muse play 4 quarters was huge to stopping Coprich. We have been missing a true nose guard and he really stepped up tonight

Correct Muse does not get the press but he requires 2 blockers allowing LB freedom to get
in backfield.
