He must have wanted to motivate his team. One of our coaches won the national championship In. 2008. He got to the semis in 09, lost the game, and the next morning he announced he was leaving to go to UVA. He had one foot out of the door.

It is the opinion of many of our fans that our coach from the 2008 championship team, took a phone call during the halftime of the semifinals game in 2009, didn't show up again until the next morning at a press conference on campus at his new team.

Not quite true, but that is how many fans felt at the time.
