If we don't win this one. I really have lost hope. UMass isn't good at all. Somehow, we make bad teams look good.
The Mooneyites will be out in full force after this one, which we will win, probably by making a bunch of threes.

Yep by tomorrow night it will be back to your regularly scheduled program of Rainbows and Unicorns
4700 is just waiting for his return. I don't think a win over UMass does it, probably will take a couple wins for him to get back onto the we just need to go 14-4 and we good.
I am plannning to make my post COVID return to Robins tomorrow night and hope to take my in-person record to 8-1.

Frankly, I feel a bit for 4700, the jackals definitely go after wounded prey.
There’s virtually no recovery for the team at this point to merit at large consideration. Yes we could win out I guess? I don’t think 14-4 does it and even that is optimistic given what we’re seeing.
So we have 16 games to figure out rotations, find a shooting guard, come up with an acceptably competent defense, retool Nate’s free throw form, and get Gilly to watch film of his O from pre-2019.

Goal should now be to end up in 4th place or better. A couple of weeks ago we were projected an NIT 4th seed - before St Joe and SLU.

We win this one handily. Gilyard gets his rest and only has to play 37 minutes tonight as opposed to the usual 39.
I think we cover easily. Umass will be rusty, we will not be. Hovde and 4700 will be telling the players what the MB is saying and they will be motivated to show us, as opposed to the last two games when they were playing for an A10 championship.
There are few teams Mooney owns, UMass is one of them. I think we win comfortably tonight. But woo-boy if we lose tonight, I'm not saying the vultures will be circling Mooney's carcass but certainly they see him wandering through the desert, no water, losing strength daily.
How true. The rest of the season is basically practice at this point for the A-10 tournament. Either we get our sh*t togehter by end of the season to make a run in the A-10 tournament or we don't. Let's hope the players don't look up Mooney's record in the A-10 tournament though, that would be discouraging for them to see.
This guy agrees with us 97, Umass is terrible road team, we are in a spot where we would seemingly need a win, Umass is terrible about exploiting our lack of rim protection, etc, etc.

Believe it or not, but UMass rebounds worse than we do. The ball may just bounce around on the floor until it goes out of bounds on every missed shot.

I think a chant would need to be a nice block of at least 10-15 LOUD people sitting within a few rows of each other. If they are too spread out it won't work.

Should be a very good PG match up. Noah Fernandes transferred to UMASS from Wichita State a few years back, remember him being very good coming out of h.s. and is putting up really good scoring and assist numbers this year.

The snow threw my kids dance and swim schedules up in the air this week so I don’t think I can make it tonight but good luck to you!
Ah Section 9 - a good section indeed - will be with my 82 year old mother and my 16 year old daughter so will be more in my Go Spiders mode tonight. Also debuting a new crazy shirt since I can no longer wear my two main Spider shirts given the recent losses that they were part of.
I'd be there with you but I didn't renew my tickets 3 years ago and swore I'd never go back until numbnuts was fired. I've got to be a man of my word because that's how I respond to each and every email I get asking for money. Good luck tonight.
