Tyler Kropp - 2025 Offer

Interesting , my source is usually reliable. i'll have to follow up.
Apologize, I misunderstood my source. Gipe was in Ohio on Tuesday, left there to go to Atlanta, said to see 2 kids. I told him the name we located, my source was pleased, but unable to add the other name.

Following the recent offer, Kropp took a visit to Northwestern yesterday. I'd also like to note that the in the Big 10 preseason poll released today, the Wildcats are picked to finish 16th and not qualify for the conference tournament. Just sayin'...

NW is loading up tho. I live in Chicago and they landed Angelo Ciarvino and now Kendall Gill's Son, Phoenix is heading there next year. Lot of hype around here

I didn’t know Ford had any eligibility left after UTSA in 2022…😉

Would still like to find a bigger guy in this class with Harper, Richardson, and Argabright all being guards, but we don't have any offers out that I'm aware of. We've obviously got Robinson and McGlothin coming up the pipeline, so we're not desperate, but still, need to keep refilling with guys of all sizes.

For reference, we're losing Hunt, White, Roche, and Neskovic for sure.

Ideally we do get a bigger/taller kid in the class. However, I do think it is a reasonable plan to target HS for the PG and wing guys that maybe are underrecruited due to the portal, and use the portal to fill the 1-2 "tall guy" spots. I think in particular short, underrecruited PGs, and experienced, skilled point forwards/point centers looking for a starring role can clearly see a track record of success here.

Collins is a good coach and Northwestern, while not being at the top of the pack
holds its own in Big Tens games.

Your guys conference record is 66-121 and the school, despite being a Big10 member since its inception in the 1800's and benefitting from all the advantages and resources that come along with that, didn't make their first NCAA tournament until 2017.

Super Impressive.

Your guys? Closest I’ve ever been to Northwestern is Chicago.
I am saying that Northwestern is a good school and Collins does a good job coaching.
They are the Vanderbilt of the Big-10.
Maybe you should post a billboard there. “Please play us in OOC games!”

Well Collins had a lot of hype when he landed Nance too, and where did that get him? I know, he got NW to its first NCAA before that. But around these parts one NCAA in 10 years is not all that exciting.
They have gone 12-8 in the B10 the past 2 years and, not only made the dance the past 2 years, but won a game there each year.

You sure do seem to have a lot of billboard related ideas. Are you vying for 1st Lieutenant Billboard?

everyone is right. good the last 2 years, horrible historically.
there's certainly risk he could lose a lot, but NW is trending up. not a bad choice for a high academic kid who wants to play in a high major conference.
