Tim Hightower

Hightower is a great witness for his faith and our school - a very fine young man.

What a great guy! Is Tim married? I have a 25 year old daughter who is a model and is single.....

What a fine human being; so proud that Tim's a Spider. OSC

You're a Spider, so that's a good start. Can you relocate to Denver?

Tim will be on Greg Burton tomorrow. Greg gave him a great intro during the tease today.

32, thanks for posting Tim's interview. Don't know what to say, other than he is so well spoken and such an inspiration. Most impressive. Really proud that he is a Spider. OSC

Wow - what an interview - really liked the part about being in Robins Stadium running the field at night as the only person out there and being humbled by the opportunity to serve as an inspiration to others!

Would love for him to come back and be on football coaching staff, especially recruiting
or player development.

Not sure when "tenure" kicks in when they are eligible for NFL retirement benefits, but this year may have done it for Timmy.

I understood it to be 3 years to be "fully vested", but someone else may know for sure. Have had the pleasure to speak with Tim and other family members several times. What good people, always positive, makes you feel better just to speak with them

Tim is in his 5th season...three years with the Cardinals where he played all 16 games, one with the Redskins where he was injured five games in, and this year with the Saints where he was picked up halfway through.

You only have to be on the roster for three games to get credit for a season.

I can't imagine the Saints wouldn't sign him for next year--and even if they don't, someone will as a backup runner.

Agreed. Based on everything the Saints organization has said about his leadership and locker room presence, they would be idiots if they didn't sign him.
