There are a ton of tickets available for the UNH Homecoming game-What is Marketing/Sales/Athletic Management doing about it?

I have lost most of my interest in our football program in the past few years. I attribute part of that to a lousy product and part to personal life taking precedence (kids' games, etc.) My Saturdays once were centered around Spider football and now they aren't, and I've gotten used to that. I go a couple times a year but it usually feels like a high school environment even when the football is good. It just doesn't move the needle for me anymore.

The W&M game should be different, especially if it means a lot. But I agree with Ferrum that the atmosphere in Carytown was legit, and we as a program miss that.

Re: CAA Pick’em Week 12

It appears W&M has sold out the entire visiting side of Robins Stadium as of this morning. Helps that W&M put in a direct link on our ticket sight to the Richmond ticket site. There are still ample tickets on the home side. Certainly looks like the enthusiasm is on the Tribes side. Hope it translates to a good showing.

That's not true...there are season ticket holders on that side as well as the student section

Sorry but the guy is right.Followed it very closely over the last week.Independent of the UR student section there were a ton of tickets on the East side available.Since this weekend those seats have been gobbled up.Any UR fan wanting tickets exclusively for this game would obviously purchase tix on the West side. There are very few season tickets sold on the East side.

There were many tickets available on the West side this morning particularly in the outer Sections.

Sadly I foresee a 60/40 population on Saturday.

I have been surprised by the number of empty seats at football games this year and what hurts even more is that UR is doing really well on the field, and could potentially win the CAA and host a playoff game!

Simple rule - if your having trouble filling the seats - make the tickets free!!! Get them in the stadium and get them to buy a drink, food, etc - and have an experience. Then maybe they come back for future games where they have to pay. If your just going to lower and lower the price in hopes someone bites - just make it free. No one is waiting and saying - if tickets go down to $10 - I will buy them, until then I will wait.

I feel like at one time there were a decent amount of STH on the East side. Take away the "blue seats" and I thought they tried to balance STH over there too. But that goes back to before Huesman era. Obviously as we've lost STH base that could have easily changed. idk I'm asking.

I agree it's going to be an interesting crowd split Saturday.

It's a shame this team is not getting the support it has earned, but so be it...

Ha! they've proven a number of times already this season that they can win in a hostile environment...hopefully Saturday will be no different...

Beat William and Mary!
