Republicans with a majority in the House can't pass the continuing resolution, and President Musk blames the minority party. Republicans can't govern. They mess up one-car funerals.

Certainly an inauspicious beginning, failing to coordinate on CR between House and Executive- elect ahead of time. With a slim majority expect the House to frequently be dysfunctional. Pelosi could rein in her hard Left, but Republican Speakers never seem to be able to rein in their hard Right.

As to Trump and Musk, expect a short love affair between the two Alphas. Do hope DOGE has some success though

For our friends from the Left, it is hatred if you called the cops on Black Lives Matter or Antifa or an illegal alien. It's hatred to remove illegal immigrants who commit crimes in this country. One thing all of your need to understand, the Chinese have purchased land, properties and buildings close to our internal military bases across this country. All of our F22s and F35s fighter squadrons, our B52s, B1 and B2 bomber squadrons and our naval assets including aircraft carriers are at risk. The Chinese are planning to cripple our ability to respond by attacking these assets with drone attacks. When the Chicoms attack Taiwan, they will attack our bases. The damage will be akin to Ukraine’s recent drone strikes on Russia.
