With all due respect, Fox News understands its audience. Every one of these females are babes. Fox News had its best quarter ever.

Her cranium inflates to 10 pounds. What's it matter what she looks like when every single word out of her mouth is a lie?

Best quarter ever? Yeah, things look better when you're not paying off $900 million in damages for lying.

It's unlikely I'll ever meet any of them, so their looks are not important. Just tell the whole news fairly and honestly.

Wood might remember better or he may have graduated but I seem to remember seeing Candy Crowley give a talk in the big room in Keller Hall. She was a young reporter at the time and starting to become well known. I did a Quick Look on the Collegian archives but found nothing.

I am not surprised that the socialist, anti-free market crowd on this board have failed to criticize Trump's Liberation Day tariff hikes on April 2, 2025. Trump called it Liberation Day, and he slapped tariffs on 180 countries across the world, including our closest allies.

This is perfidy.
My liberation day was back in January when I held my breath and cashed in the majority of my portfolio to roll over in 4%+ 30 day cds. So yea as I continue the roll overs I feel very liberated. Just waiting to see when to jump back in. I don’t believe the uprun will be immediate as I will watch the retail market reactions over the next few months.
Oh I did buy some European defense stocks in Jan/Feb.

See the link for a very interesting NIH study to treat cancer that has been shut down. Was of special interest to me as I lost a friend approx. 30 yrs ago they had tried a similar treatment at Johns Hopkins. I understand he was one of first.

Is TDS causing the stock market collapse?

The latest from GOP MAGA superstar Tommy Tubberville:

"We have entire men's teams across this country now that are tuning trans. Women's teams are turning trans. That's gonna be a situation where it's gonna pick up speed because these woke globalists are pushing these kids."

This guy is a US Senator. Well done, Alabama.

So THAT'S how UCLA beat us. So THAT'S why our men's BB team had such a bad season.

Meanwhile, Trump plays golf during the dignified transfer of dead US servicemen in Dover. Guess he didn't want to be associated with men he thinks were losers and suckers.

Its truly sad that Trump got elected based on many voters thinking he was so good with the economy, and instead has shown that he has no clue about our economy. He says he wants to eliminate the IRS and fund the government with tariffs, and then later says he wants everything made in America with no imports which would result in no tariffs. He says he wants to eliminate the bipartisan CHIPS bill passed when Biden was President, which provided for semi-conducters to be made in the US, so I guess he wants to continue to import all semi-conductor chips and not have them produced in the US?

Trump still thinks tariffs are paid by the counries importing products into the US and not by US consumers. He caved on tariffs after promising that he would not, but what happens after his 90 day pause? Businesses, both large and small, have no idea how to plan when this clown is constantly changing his mind and doing crazy "stuff". Trump was handed the best economy in the world and he is systematically destroying it.

Question how many millions he and his buddies are making as he manipulates the markets. We are his lab rats, welcome to the maze.

Less than 3 months in and Trump is openly defying the Supreme Court by refusing to facilitate the return from El Salvador of a wrongfully deported and imprisoned man. I am disgusted and disheartened. This is a nightmare.

The guy was here illegally. He broke the law. The President of El Salvador has said the detainee cannot be released.

Mahmoud Khalil is my favorite. He is the noted anti-semite and Jew-hater, who moved here to be a student at Columbia. He came here in 2022, married a girl in 2023, got her pregnant, received a green card in 2024 and led protests in favor of Hamas and against Israel and Jews on Columbia's campus. He openly intimidated Jews on campus and led the Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD) effort. He also led the ten encampment at Columbia and he worked to disrupt graduation in 2024. He was here on a student visa.

It sounds like he intentionally came here to protest, under the guise of being a student. These types of people should not be here.

An immigration judge has ruled that he can be deported.

While he originally entered the country illegally, he was here under a judge-granted “withholding of removal” status, which means at the time he was sent to El Salvador he was in the country legally and could not be be deported legally.

I understand you may not like the person or how he came to the US, but we are a country of laws and this is clearly a case where deporting him was against the law. The administration admitted so in court, but still refuses to even try to bring him back.

The guy got "married" and had a kid to make himself appear more sympathetic.

The administration asked the president of El Salvador to release him. He refused.

The attorney general, Pam Bondi, echoed that it is up to El Salvador “whether they want to return him”, not the US. Bondi also claimed the supreme court ruling meant that “if El Salvador wants to return him, we would ‘facilitate’ it, meaning provide a plane”.

G - Now you've turned into a mind reader where you can divine intent in relationship issues. Wish you had been around to referee my marriage.

I really don’t care what stories you come up with, there was a legal process that was completely ignored. The deportation of this man was blatantly illegal.

If the administration can ignore laws and judical rulings AND removes checks and balances we are in SERIOUS trouble. Remember your hero Donald will not live forever, think of the precedent he is setting for a future President. Would you like AOC to have these powers?

For what it is worth......the Withholding of Removal Order was specific to El Salvador to where he was sent. If he is returned to the country he illegally entered, the Admin could deport him to a different country. Just saying, he ain't winning either way.

BS post from you, as is often the case. Please tell us what crime this guy was convicted of. The Supreme Court ruled 9-0 (surprising that Alito and Thomas even agreed) that the Trump Administration must facilitate the return of this person. Trump's administration has admitted that it was a mistake to deport him to El Salvador. The US is paying El Salvador for putting these people in prisons, which are probably more like concentration camps. If you believe the President of El Salvador wouldn't return this guy if Trump demanded that he do so, you have a screw loose. Noem was able to get into a prison for a photo op, certainly this one prisoner can be returned to the US. Trump could just refuse to pay El Salvador, like he has done with contractors his entire business career, until this guy is returned. Instead he is just ignoring the Supreme Court and District Court orders, his path to autocracy continues.

I"m all for getting illegal immigrants who have been convicted of crimes out of this country, but most of these guys have not been convicted of anything. If they are here illegally and not convicted of a crime, deport them but don't sentence them to the undoubtedly brutal conditions in the prisons in El Salvador.

It was specific to El Salvador for a reason, it was assumed he would be abused and possibly tortured if he was sent there. Instead the Trump Administrations sends him to the one place he is not supposed to be sent. Total incompetence at best, intentional illegal act of immoral persons at worst.

Honestly I would feel a lot better about the situation if the Trump administration made a good faith effort to actually follow the law, and respected the courts in their constitutional role and authority. I somehow doubt that this interpretation would stand in the courts, but if it did then so be it.

At least he would have his day in Court. Due process is a cornerstone of our system.

I vote NO. If we are going to apply endless due process procedures for 10 million illegals that Biden purposefully (likely unknowingly) allowed to enter our country, then we are in Hotel California territory. You can check in, but never checkout.

Here illegally, good bye. Due process is a two way street. Didn't follow lawful immigration statutes, don't get to tie the citizens in knots trying to remove you.

If this guy gets away with it, every other illegal with have the same fact pattern.

By the way, Biden knew about it. The worst abuses he knew about.
