The Trump Administration

Call your reps. Call Ukraine embassy acknowledging your support. Lady G is also now parroting Putin.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio shoud know better and interjected to get today's meeting back on tract. He was shrinking on the couch while next to vance. He looked like the kid who got caught in the room where Mom and Dad were arguing over Dad's drinking. If Rubio could have hidden under the cushions he would have done it.

Looks to me as Vance (Instigator in Chief) came prepared to pick a fight. You haven't said Thank You today, and you campaigned for our opponent in PA.
Everything these people do is out of spite and pettiness. They're just out for revenge on anyone they have convinced themselves has "wronged" them at any point in the past. Nevermind that the type of "wronging" Trump hates is actually just "being held accountable for all the insane and illegal things you did."

It's how children behave when they don't get their way. It's pathetic behavior for grown adults.

KE, you know there's a proper way for adults, especially those elected to lead entire nations, to behave. Trump is 180 degrees from the way ANY other president of any party ever acted, and it's flat out pathetic and embarrassing. If your kid acted that way at any age, you would be humiliated. Calling out boorish behavior shouldn't be difficult for people from any side to do.

Donald Trump: “There’s a whole big, oh, you can work from home. Nobody’s going to work from a home. They’re going to be going out. They’re going to play tennis. They’re going to play golf. They’re going to do a lot of things. They’re not working.”

Hmmm. Kash Patel wants to live part-time in Las Vegas and work remotely, far away from FBI headquarters in Washington.

I often worked for the UR police department parking cars during basketball games as a freshman and sophomore. So I have more law-enforcement experience than the FBI director.

Wood, not necessarily agreeing, but it is hilarious. 😊

Only you would be concerned about what news sources people utilize for factual news, I'm sure you get your news from the Fox News Fiction Channel.
I last purchased the 3 month digital subscription to the RTD for $1. It wasn't worth it. You can get the digital RTD through the Henrico County library, using your library card. The content is exactly the same. I only use the RTD to read about Spiders' sports.

They have some limited local news, but their national/international storied are generally AP or similar.

Now this is stupid. We need to push Russia back into its box. We can't let Russia continue its malign behavior.

Hegseth orders pause in US cyber-offensive against Russia

It is stupid and extremely dangerous, as Trump's love affair with Putin continues and the Republicans in Congress do nothing about it. Russia will continue its malign behavior and it seems Trump is doing everything to help Putin.

Below is an excerpt from Heather Cox Richardson's daily Letters from an American:

as Stephanie Kirchgaessner of The Guardian notes, the Trump administration has made clear that it no longer sees Russia as a cybersecurity threat. Last week, at a United Nations working group on cybersecurity, representatives from the European Union and the United Kingdom highlighted threats from Russia, while Liesyl Franz, the State Department’s deputy assistant secretary for international cybersecurity, did not mention Russia, saying the U.S. was concerned about threats from China and Iran.

Kirchgaessner also noted that under Trump, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), which monitors cyberthreats against critical infrastructure, has set new priorities. Although Russian threats, especially those against U.S. election systems, were a top priority for the agency in the past, a source told Kirchgaessner that analysts were told not to follow or report on Russian threats.

“Russia and China are our biggest adversaries,” the source told Kirchgaessner. “With all the cuts being made to different agencies, a lot of cybersecurity personnel have been fired. Our systems are not going to be protected and our adversaries know this.” “People are saying Russia is winning,” the source said. “Putin is on the inside now.”

Granted this is an anonymous source, but it certainly seems accurate in light of what else is being disclosed and reported.

There is a lot of fear-mongering going around about Doge. I am more worried about defense cuts, stupid foreign policy decisions, and Trumps asinine impulsive decisions.

I agree with your second statement, but think there is a much better way to make cuts. I think it was Clinton that went to each Department gave them a targeted cut to make or the Admin would do it. Worked well with few complaints. Problem is the government has rewarded growth over effeciency.
