The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Mike Waltz will be appointed Trump's National Security Adviser.
I have been waiting for the inception of the "walks on water" thread.
Considering that he hired "all the best people" to drain the swamp last time, and then 92% of them left, were fired or ended up in jail, I guess we can only deduce that everyone he's hiring this time is probably a loser or a sucker.

Well a guy who denies climate change, and who has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations from fossil fuel companies is going to head up the EPA. I guess breathing clean air and drinking clean water are overrated.
And Kristie Noem is going to head Homeland Security. So if we're invaded by dogs I guess we'll be OK. OTOH, she didn't lose one square inch of South Dakota to North Dakota aggression.

I'm sure a TV analyst from a network that admitted in court that its shows are entertainment will help keep our nation safe.
Letting a convicted felon run the country is indeed insanity. But of course, he alone can fix all of the perceived problems in the country, so I look forward to him doing just that. Unclear why he couldn't do any of that the first time he had the chance, but clearly the second time will be much different.
I admit Pete Hegseth as SecDef is a head scratcher, but he will be a darn sight better than Lloyd Austin, the hero and architect of the defense of Hamid Karzai International Airport. Let's not forget his top General Milley, who ordered all of our troops to take DEI training.

How is Trump going to end the Ukraine war? By pulling all support so that his daddy Putin can take over the whole thing? What's his plan in Israel, just allow the complete eradication of every Palestinian? Not sure those are really effective ways to "end" wars.
I believe the Gaetz nomination is directed at the DOJ and the FBI. Trump is rightly angry at the insiders who pursued him for political purposes. Remember they raided his home and violated its sanctity. They even went through his wife's underwear. He wants someone who will go after them. There will be no forgiving that. He will also tell Gaetz to go after Biden for stealing classified documents while VP. Biden deserves it. He won't get immunity.
