Summer League: Gilly to Warriors, er, Timberwolves & Golden to Hawks

After not getting on the floor last night against the Warriors, Golden was unsurprisingly waived by the Nuggets today. Expected to head to their G League affiliate.

SO the initial waive must have been to make room for someone then re-sign for one game to give him a minute on the floor and now off to the G-League.

Good luck to him. From a program standpoint - the more guys we can have make NBA rosters - summer league, G-League, call-ups, etc - the better it is for our recruiting.

Did Cline make any headlines this off-season? Have to imagine he’s the most “nba ready” of the three, and he had good stats in the g league last year.

Didn't Cline play in the Big 3? I kinda feel like if you play in the Big 3 - your not on track for the NBA. He might have been thinking it was just an opportunity to play for his mom since she was coaching. But other than that - I have not heard anything out of him in terms of G-League or Europe.

Memphis Hustle starting to gear up for G League play, and Gilly is there. (Golden is also on the Grand Rapids Gold roster as expected.)
