Richmond is currently ranked last in D1 (#353) in offensive rebounding percentage
Did we finish the game with 3 turnovers? If so, that seems like it could be a record for the Mooney Era. Or maybe any era. Amazing. I don't expect it to happen again, but it was a big reason why we won tonight.
Last time we had only 3 turnovers was Mooney’s A-10 Charlotte meltdown game we lost. According to Bob BlackMooney's teams tend to have very few turnovers, we have been in the top 50 lowest turnover percentage for 9 of the last 11 years (and top 11 in 3 of those years). Even so, 3 turnovers in a game may be a record.
Will Mooney get the ax or will he remain til the end of his contract, which I believe runs out in 2022.We did it! After Gonzaga's loss today we are now #1 in the country in 2FG%. Still in last place for offensive rebounding percentage though.
One might argue that the only stat that matters is winning percentage.
At one time Vanderbilt University did not have an AD.Why have basketball if graduation is the only stat that matters to our athletic director? For that matter, why have an athletic director?

assume he is calling out whats going well....grad rate seems like the only thing worth calling out for bball. We have a 100% Graduation Success Rate. That was the only statistic Hardt brought up in his most recent letter.
We may have to accept that it's the only important stat to this administration.
Dwill graduated on time from UR.I've forgotten how the graduation rate thing works, but shouldn't DWill have counted against it? Or did he go somewhere to finish his degree? Josh Jones would be another one I'd wonder about. He seemed to bounce around a bit after he was kicked out. Did he graduate? Do they have an extra year to graduate if they leave the program? Does transferring down to a lower division mean they aren't counted anymore in our numbers?

Correct. Graduate within 6 years, and leaving in good standing is not held against you.
So, Hardt's one statement trumpeting the MBB program is for something that happened 8-10 years ago. My god, we are digging deep to find one nugget of good news to put in his AD update.Yes, it's based on academic standing (progress toward degree). Transfers and/or dismissals do not penalize you.
You're a bit early with Jones & Buck, anyway. This report is based on our 2008-2011 "cohort." I somehow missed that tidbit in the fine print of Hardt's letter.
