Stony Brook has 25,000 students and an 8,300 seat stadium

Apparently they can fit quite a bit more than capacity...they had 12K for homecoming against Towson last year.

But at least as far as official capacity goes, they're adding another 2,000 seats now (project just went out to bid a couple weeks ago) and planning to go to 15,000 once they have money. Of course, they're not routinely filling the current stadium, so...

I really liked the look of the stadium. I liked the way the corners worked and the end zone seating they had (although it was empty). That would be a nice addition to "The Rob"
