RPI: 6 assists, 15 turnovers.

And Kat says they're better without their point guard.

in case you weren't aware, mudkat is a super-knowledgable gambler. he barely ever goes wrong, presumably from all his in-depth research into the stats and analytics work that he does. guy is like a human computer, only with a combover. he's the best. so naturally, I have to blindly trust him when he says they're better w/o Weber. guy knows his stuff. he's like the vcu version of spidertrap.

To Kat's defense, RPI only lost by 4 in stead of 9 with Weber. Kendall wanted Weber back!!

KA played more total minutes than any other player on either team!

Trevon Graham shot 18 free throws, making 14 which was over half of his 25 points.

he's very good, but they're making him unguardable giving him the foul call every time he leans into you whether you do anything or not. yet Kendall drives and gets stuck in a textbook "blocking foul" with the VCU guard making a ton of contact trying to slide in, and we get a travelling call with the annoying announcer repeatedly says "that's the right call", which it wasn't per my DVR.

I agree about Graham, he initiates the contact but gets the calls. That happens, and the aggressor often gets the call, but at some point the defender has to be allowed to play defense. This aggravates me at all levels of the game and officiating, but more so watching Graham lower his shoulder and foul on the defense.

Spiderman, exactly right. Graham lowers and leads with his shoulder and initiates contact every time. Jason Whitten couldn't have made more forceful contact. Kendall was pummeled and hard hand checked all night, no calls.
Deion did take a great charge in overtime and I can't believe the refs got that one right, finally.

Agree totally and put this in the thread about the block at the end of the game. The refs tendency to call fouls in Graham's favor when he is obviously the aggressor was ridiculous. RPI plays a very physical game and K Zero was pounded quite often which wore him down but refs ignored much of that. May happen but difficult to imagine the calls will be so favorable for Graham in postseason games called by other than A-10 refs.
