I'm really concerned with what vcu trolls have to say on our board. It hasn't been panning out for you since 2003. Good luck.

Why move? Sportsbooks are legal in Virginia now. I've got the perfect spot to set up shop.Time to go into business together. Draw up the papers. We're moving to Vegas.
I’ve been using fan Duel so far but you can’t bet on in state college teams. Why move? Sportsbooks are legal in Virginia now. I've got the perfect spot to set up shop.
This guys a weirdo. EL disputes the fact that bones hyland isn’t close to a first round talent and this troll replies to every one of his posts in every thread. Are you that offended buddy? It hasn't been panning out for you since 2003. Good luck.
Fair point - if EL wants to specialize in Virginia D1 vs D3 games, he can't do that here.I’ve been using fan Duel so far but you can’t bet on in state college teams.
Quite impressive. The O/U for St. Mary's points scored is 42. Ours is 88. As set by me. Which way you going?
Come on man, I've been locked up with my wife for 11 months. You're killing my plans here. Why move? Sportsbooks are legal in Virginia now. I've got the perfect spot to set up shop.

Hey @Eight Legger ....I think someone has a giant crush on you.I'm really concerned with what vcu trolls have to say on our board.
They never said anything about Junior Colleges though....There could be a market for those Richard Bland - CVCC match ups. What about Hargrave and FUMA post grad games?Fair point - if EL wants to specialize in Virginia D1 vs D3 games, he can't do that here.
Yes, it has to be Vegas, wink wink.Come on man, I've been locked up with my wife for 11 months. You're killing my plans here.
No guesses, but Bob said it was probably more than St Mary's athletic budget for the year. Not sure if that was hyperbole or if D3 budget is that small. Coaches pay at good d3 is around 6 figures from what I understand, so guessing this is an exaggeration. How much did we pay St Mary's to play us? Bob and Greg mentioned it, but not the amount. Any educated guesses?
$10k? $15k? No more than that.
D3 is the Wild West of athletic departments so it varies. You’ll have schools with PT coaches sometimes with no experience in that sport then there are some schools with former d1 coaches that were PT there and took the FT D3 job. St. Mary’s is a solid program so imagine they have some decent funding where that wouldn’t move the needle for the athletic department. But I know 10-15 k would definitely pay for some ODAC “non-revenue” sports budgets at some schools. No guesses, but Bob said it was probably more than St Mary's athletic budget for the year. It's a fair question. Does this game even count?Do Gilyard’s steals count toward his career total?
Agreed. St. Mary's coach described his team as our sparring partner. Fighters don't count their sparring sessions in their records.I'm pretty shocked that the stats count, tbh. I don't think they should.
I thought they might, if you look at the college scoreboard every night, there are a ton of D1 teams playing DII/DIII/NAIA teams this year. Seems to be the new normal. I think look for St. Mary's to make some d3 NCAA appearances in the next few years. Some good looking freshman and soph players. The game and stats do count for NCAA purposes, but it is not considered by the NET formula.
I assume the analytics and the committee don't count non-DI games.I'm pretty shocked that the stats count, tbh. I don't think they should.
I did not realize until this week how many of our fans (both on this board and off) don’t understand how scheduling and records work at the NCAA level. Or that they don’t recognize schools regularly schedule lower division opponents including the A10 like Davidson. They have counted towards career and season stats since the beginning of time, for all teams. Forever, our press notes have shown that our highest points scored was against Bluefield, whatever that is.
