Spiders vs. Fighting Hawks

After being on the other end of these games for the past few years, it's so, so, so sweet to win one like this

I think the reason Pa Ward never gave up is because he has seen comebacks in the playoffs before! Absolutely amazing considering the injuries to this team. Phenomenal

Just have to know how to motivate these boys!!!!
True.

At halftime, The Administration told the team that Rocco's next loss would be his last game.

So the team told the Administration, Fine! We will make his contract longer than Mooney's.

Great game. Great great great. That one was as good as the UNI game in 08.

UR trailed 24-7 and scored 20 points in a row. Battle tested, tenacity, and experience
Can only say this was one of the great, great comebacks I have ever seen in any sporting event. The other team looked almost like ND State last year. This team just didn't quit and What a tremendous, tremendous comeback. Please, please don't let Rocco go anywhere.
Congratulations team and coaching staff!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought UND was a second half team.....NOT TONIGHT! Couldn't be prouder of these boys and how they kept their heads, kept fighting, never gave up. I hope certain people understand this doesn't happen by chance. This starts with Rocco and flows down to the last guy on the bench. This is incredibly special and rare. I hope it doesn't end whenever this season does.

The football team is the antithesis of the hoops team. I expect the hoops team to lose, not rise to the challenge, and fail at the most critical team. The football team, I expect to win, expect to make the big play, and expect to overcome any challenge. All starts with head man. Keep Rocco.

So many similarities to the UNI game here. Just a tremendous effort in every facet when it mattered most. I thought we were toast after the first drive of the second half, but damn was I wrong. That catch by Wilkins needs to be #1 on Sportscenter tonight. On to EWU!

Heart of a champion. Team showed great grit.

Big shoutout to Will McCombs. Last guy to have his hands on the ball and it was fitting. His block was the turning point.
