Spiders v. Bison In-game thread

I think our secondary is sound, the strategy is flawed. I didn't like the play with Broadus. We are close to being down 3 scores.

Broadus didn't even reach the line of scrimmage. We give NDSU the ball in our end of the field. I'd hope to go into halftime, only down a couple of scores, that means we need to score.

Don't blame him for going for it. This game is over anyway. He took a chance to get something going. Both our lines are being crushed.

Their kicker is really helping us out a lot. Get a TD here and we're right back in this thing. However, let's just start with a first down.

The game is not over. I'm discouraged, and not very confident. But that's irrelevant, it's the confidence that our team and coaches show, that counts. We really need to score, and win some confidence. We have talented players.

hanging in by fingernails, I'm not giving up on this team -- O needs to learn how to handle the noise

Why do we never throw to Abell? He is a very good receiver. We only throw to Brown and Diggs, good receivers, but they are well covered.

playmakers gotta make plays when we get a chance, lucky to be down 13

We've won games, where our opponents couldn't tackle Green. Today, we can't tackle their running backs.

Our defense has given up tons of points and yards all year. The difference in this game is that our offense is being overwhelmed.

Could be game, another TD by NDSU. We really aren't in the same class, so far. Real challenge for Rocco, how do you keep our guys from clocking out. We are being beat play after play. They are a better team. So, this is why coaches make the big bucks. Convince our players, that the next play counts. Make the most of every opportunity.

guys have had a great season, not up to the task today, hope we can get it together on O

What the heck was that? Terrible pass by Lauletta, even if miscommunications with receiver. Lauletta seems to think we only have two possible receivers, Brown and Diggs. They are great, but we can't throw to them exclusively. Now, NDSU can put game away.
