Wish we wouldn't play so soft on receivers. Stick is not a big play QB like Wentz. We are playing into their strength by giving them the short passes.

Worst possible start. I was sure NDSU would fair catch our punt, but missed tackles led to big punt return. It's all NDSU. They are dominating in all areas. Big test for our guys. Can they dig in, and regain their poise?

A big break, stopped NDSU, only down 6, despite one sided play. Lauletta gets a big play. Green has had no success, we need to pass to open up our run game.

Refs really let 'em play. That's fine as long as it's consistent.

And I'd give Seth a look too. Their D is really athletic. Power run might be better idea.

Yikes! only down two scores. we know we can score at will. but wow. their offense is hitting on all cylinders. they own the line of scrimmage and they are breaking tackles at will

Looking like an FCS vs FBS game. In some respects, is. We are just being outclassed. I still hate our soft pass defense. I think Lauletta would have a record day, against our defense. Bad enough we can't tackle, but almost every pass completion, comes with no defender even close to the receiver. This is the ideal defense for Stick, to master.

Not out of reach, but we need to do something soon, or the game could get out of reach. I think we need to pass, if we want to rush, try Fisher.

In that game the score was 35-35 late in the game, hardly a blowout
