Veney supposedly has been committed to UR for months, according to Russ.Nothing public.so were Tomlinson and Veney surprises...not to staff but they were new names on here, correct?
Someone on staff should have Veney correct his Twitter bio. Seen Richmond U with recruits talking about visits or offers but never from someone who already signed.
MoLooks like a nice collection of players.
32, why do you feel like the class is so small? In the past, it seemed like we'd always have 16-18 freshmen.
Is this a function of the 'new normal' with annual free agency? More spots for transfers?
Will be interesting to see how many of these 10 players walk on senior day with us in 4 (or 5) years.

Hudl?Don’t know if thishelps at all but worth a shot. My family has a very good friend who’s son was a star at western albemarle high school in charlottesville the last 4 years. He is getting mainly low level offers from ODAC type schools, maybe a few D2 and has a walk on spot at Vanderbilt. However when talking to him he said he really wants to play for Richmond. My dad reached out to Jeff Hanson to try and get him some looks but doesn’t look like much has happened there yet. Was just curious if anyone on here would have any connections to try and help this kid out. He’s a great student, played multiple positions in football and killed it at each one. He would have to be a preferred walk on but he doesn’t care. He would be a great fit for UR so we really want to help him out.
He could get in to Richmond as a student if it weren’t for football. Has hudl and was all region for his team the last 2 years I believe. Problem is that he is not getting much help from his high school coaches in the recruiting process or so I’ve heard. He would definitely be a developmental guy who would need to redshirt and out more weight on. Could play receiver, safety, or even outside linebacker if he adds some weight as he’s already 6’2. Not great seed or athleticism which seems to be holding him back. However we have had guys before come out as low level prospects or walk ons and ended up having fantastic careers at UR. I really think he could be right up there with some of those guys. Kid wants to play, BAD, so give him the chance.Hudl?
profile?
accolades?
how are his test scores/ gpa?
I think he is asking for the answers to those questions. You've patted him on his back, none of that helps if we don't know who he is.He could get in to Richmond as a student if it weren’t for football.
