Now that Cutcliffe has lost his OC to ECU, the word is he has already reached out to a protégé as his new OC.

Hiring McNeil quickly is a sign that Bronco Mendenhall, the new UVA coach, knows what he is doing. He is clearly not intimidated to have other (former) head-coaches at his side. Bronco really needs a strong OC though, so will see how he does...
Anybody know anything about the Duke OC who was reportedly just hired by ECU?
I do think that Lincoln Riley, the OC at Oklahoma, was likely not interested in the ECU job, and has "bigger fish to fry" in the next year or two, after leading Oklahoma to a national championship, and leading the most potent offense in the college game. His play-calling is beyond genius, and his future is bright...
