Refereeing and Game Management was awful

Just a horrendous crew. Late calls, one sided calls. Clock running at the wrong times, not running at the wrong time.

This was the worst managed game I've seen since we've been back on campus.

I know what you mean. Not even sure they were one sided as much as they were just bad. The clock was a mess.

The fumble/not a fumble, with the fiasco yardage marker issue that followed was ridiculous

it's hard to believe this is the best officiating the CAA can get. they overturned the Towson fumble went back to the phone I'm guessing to find the time and I am assuming to find out where the ball should be but apparently didn't get where the first down marker was, had to be a number of minutes to get it right.

and that was after the previous fumble where they indicated UR ball then reversed it after our players were heading off the field?

It was that bad. I was embarrassed for the CAA. This isn't micky mouse football. Act like it.

Not sure about the clocks but both fumbles were the correct calls in the end. The first, a Towson player came out of the pile with the ball. Announcers said one ref originally indicated Spider ball but Towson did recover. The second fumble was definitely not a fumble.

it wasn't the corrected call on the fumble it was the complete inability of the refs to figure out where to put the ball or the chains.

That's the officials' fault. The crew took forever to announce the replay review, UR's O and Towson's D were ready to play before the ref even got on his mic then went to the review.

Horrible game management. The CAA will get embarrassed in the future if this is not corrected. The "white hat" was totally disorganized. This is an embarrassment to a top FCS league. I think that the new CAA commish needs to spoken to by Gill but that wont happen.
