Rams Drilling Davidson

They're flipping a switch. It's a crap sandwich and we're all going to have to take a bite.

I hate to say this- but VCU is peaking at the right time. They are picking up the defensive pressure against Davidson. Davidson is not making 3s. VCU, Davidson and Dayton are in. The question is whether URI is in. 4 would be good for the A-10.

8legs. Still taking credit for the Davidson comeback today ?? :).

Ouch...93-73. I didn't watch the game (refuse to watch VCU when we're not playing them), but I followed on my app and it seemed that they never got it under 13 points.

Davidson didn't make many threes. That's why they would have been a good matchup for us, because we typically don't allow many. Of course, that 7-for-7 stretch by VCU yesterday was an anomaly and is what cost us the game.

When Davidson doesn't shoot well from deep, they lose. When they do shoot well, they win. Simple as that. They don't have an interior game. They should still be safely in the field, however.

Eight, I agree , Davidson doesn't play defense so when they go cold they can't stay in the game. Just like our 89 to 63 win over them.

You are correct.

I'm certainly no fan of VCU, but they've won 3 games in 3 days after closing out the season on a down slide. They played well against us & against Davidson. They schedule OOC against better competition than us, pretty much expect to make it to the NCAA's year after year, and do make it back year after year. And we're at home watching NCAA's on TV... again. Sorry for being pi$$ed, but another year has passed, and we're on the outside looking in. If anyone thinks that glass is half full, then go drink from it.

I did not want Davidson for reason I did not want a first year team from a lesser conference winning the championship.
Actually VCU winning out would not bother me as they have been in running 3 years in a row. Actually think Rhody is
best team left .

K, I should have added a smiley face...they hack everybody!
I tried to help the wildcats rally but they fizzled.
Some may disagree, but given where we were at the end of our OOC schedule, I would have taken the 2 out of 3 wins and a 4 seed.
We finished the season stronger than we finished games. Glad for Kendall we will get to play some more and look forward to reading about our games on page 8 of the RTD.

Rhody will join us in NIT. Dayton beat RPI on Broad Street 59-55 two weeks ago.
