Two outstanding running games, our passing game may be a little stronger so rain won't help. Hanging on to the ball might be an issue. Anything I'm missing?

Light rain shouldn't really impact us much. Think we would still have most of the passing game in-play.

Little damp turf could make it easier for Brown, Diggs, et. al. to find space---gotta believe the DB's would play a little softer than perhaps usual. Regardless, need O-line to control the trenches.

I've often heard that a light rain actually benefits the passing game as the O knows where they are going and the D has to react. Either way both teams will be facing the same conditions.

BYW was happy to read ISU is taking exams this week also.

Has the rain forecast been moving forward the last 2 days? So that most of it is likely to be Saturday instead of Friday?

Does their Stadium have natural grass? I thought it looked like artificial..

Looks like they're currently saying occasional showers in the afternoon Friday, but clearing for the overnight before returning Saturday AM. Not sure they'll clear out in time for the game Friday night, but doesn't look like anything too heavy.

And yes, they have artificial turf.

Agreed, light rain helps us, heavy rain hurts us. After seeing us come out strong against Maine in the light rain (14 points in 5 plays), I wouldn't think a light rain would concern the team
