What little time I have had for sports fandom these past few months has been spent following our women's team. They deserve it and I wish more of us would follow suit.
Ply had one of my all time favorite thread rants after one of the losses in the Bahama classic in November 2021. I was in Texas and woke up early to enjoy the raw truth filled emotional reaction as he followed the game. Of course removed later by board host.

If I recall, you can find Ply at the final four every year. Hope that guy is doing well and we eventually get a new regime and find some success. He is young enough - I think - that it could happen for him.

I’m still around. Only checking the board a few times a week instead of what used to seem like a few times an hour. Not much to post about. By the time I look at a thread somebody else has already posted what I’m thinking.
It’s a shame we’re so bad that I can’t even blame the refs for any losses. I didn’t even get one rant in this year. Since my freshman year at UR we’ve never had a team even remotely close to this bad. Crazy how low the bar is and we still can’t even get close to reaching it.
The women are damn good though, making me really proud.

I’ll be there in San Antonio this year. Also, I’m only 30, so I know one day I’ll see a post-Mooney Spider squad.
