This seems REALLY early for first practice, no? Did the NCAA change the rules or have we been practicing this far in advance for a few years and I just didn't realize it?

I haven't heard anyone mention him. Can't be goodDid anyone else notice a large absence of Paul Friendshuh? If defense is going to be our bigger and better focus this season, don't we need our biggest player? Maybe he was in class? Or is he hurt (again)?
Look at clip at about 55 sec; #13 is Solly, a pretty big guy! OSC
Saw Solly at the football game today - looks 6'8" or 6'9" to me. Then again, I'm retired...Look at clip at about 55 sec; #13 is Solly, a pretty big guy! OSC
Why I like SDJ. The senior leadership we are getting this year is miles different than what we got last year.Kinda embarrassing how SDJ has more balls than Mooney to step up and say we deserve better.
And throw in Cline as a hell of a co-captainWhy I like SDJ. The senior leadership we are getting this year is miles different than what we got last year.

I would too.Cline will be a very successful coach after his pro career. Would love to see him at the helm of the Spiders one day
Ok great, we will need him.I understand PF is beginning his conditioning
Is PF still on the team?? I have seen several videos and have not seen him in any of them and no one has mentioned him. Is he done? I certainly hope not.
Forget about PF. Will not play.
Not sure if it was officially noted anywhere, there is a blurb about Solly at the end of this article:I probably missed this in an earlier thread somewhere, but is solly officially ineligible until next season?
Although it seemed that the prevailing thought was that he would not be eligible until next year, I really was hoping for this year. He seems like a guy that could really fill a few different roles well. He has been seasoned over in Europe, and looks to have some nice skill, athleticism and toughness. We could have used his skill set and experience this year. I see him as a very good sized wing, that could move down and play some 4 for stretches. Glad to have him for the next two years.23, thanks for the link. good read. would be nice to have had him this year, but as long as he is practicing with the team now he should be a big part of our success at the 4 next season.
play like a freshman? I sure hope not. kid played 3 years in France. he's got to be about 21.He will likely not be playing like a freshman next season.
