Post positives about Mooney here

Look, Mooney is a nice guy. He does a lot for his family, and he seems to care about those who are close to him. He seems like a pretty good guy to have in your inner circle.

I understand and get the gist of this thread. That being said, I read this article many years ago and have never looked at Coach Mooney the same. I'm not certain why it affected me so much, but I have always felt it was an incredible story.

I'm as disappointed as everyone by the way this season turned out but I do think Coach Mooney is a stand-up, classy guy who is loved by his players and willing to help those in the Richmond community.

If you haven't read this article in a while (or ever), give it another look and hopefully it buys him just a little extra respect from everyone.

We get it. He’s a nice guy. Opposing coaches love him too especially when his team never contests for a rebound and he never makes any adjustments during games. They love him and hope he stays UR coach for twenty more years.

No body on this board doubts Chris is a very nice man, but he is also just an 8th place coach.

The real issue being that we’re paying $1.3M per year for a nice guy that finishes middle of the pack. If we’re paying him $500k (which isn’t chump change), it would at least be a scenario of you get what you pay for. We’re paying Whole Foods prices for the Food Lion experience.

What did Food Lion do to piss you off?

Nice guy....stale program. Unfortunately even nice guys get in a rut too deep to climb out.

He always tried hard to find time for his bench. Unfortunately it usually took injuries in order for this to occur.

But I like the mask thing best.
