Either Charleston Southern or Wofford is my prediction. We'd host Chuck South. I'm guessing we'd travel to Wofford becuase of Jerry Richardson's money.

Did NC A&T lose? Do they have any chance at an At-Large?

NC A&T just might get an at-large. The bubble is weak, especially with Montana and UNI losing.
I bet that's who we get.
We could get a little healthy with some MEACtion.

OR be the first team to lose a playoff game to a MEAC opponent. Give me Wofford or Chattanooga or Chuck South.

Eastern schools in 1st round(10 out of 16):

Nova
Youngstown
Lehigh
St Francis
UNH

NCA&T
Chas South
Wofford
Chatty
UR

Wofford and Chatty have played in regular season.
Nova and Lehigh have played in regular season.

Thanks. Given the crossover of conferences , it could be Youngstown too.

My prediction based on the above:

Chatty v Chuck South
Wofford v NCAT
UNH v Lehigh
VU v St. F
UR v Youngstown

Given that the at large selections seems soft
gonna add 2 more Eastern teams-Fordham and Albany/Duquesne

Those 2 coupled with San Diego,Central Arkansas,Cal Poly and Weber State would round out at large.

Good call ChoppinB. We have a very tough QB situation for an offense that relies on the pass.

If we get Broadus back we will steamroll a&t. I still think we have good chance even if we don't have him. We are bigger and more physical than any MEAC team so gamelan should be to just try to run for 300+ yards on them which I think we can do. If we can take care of the football in the passing game and just make a few plays, whoever the qb is, we'll be fine. Let's go get this done.

No disrespect intended, but we couldn't have gotten a better draw, except maybe St. Francis in the first round.

NC A&T just got boatraced in their de facto conference championship game by NC Central.
North Dakota is probably the most beatable team of the top 8. We all kind of expected the #7 path anyway; now it will be on the road.

Now let's get our QB situation sorted out and go.

NC A&T beat Kent State of the MAC Conference, beat Hampton (31-9) and Norfolk State (35-0). We beat Norfolk State 34-0, W&M beat Hampton 24-14. This will be a very tough game. We will need to score and play D.

Of course. No gimmies in the playoffs. But of the possible first round match ups, would you rather have NC A&T or Youngstown St/Lehigh/Wofford? This is our best case scenario outside of St. Francis PA.

"North Dakota plays its football home games at the Alerus Center - a 12,283-seat stadium located just minutes from the UND campus in Grand Forks. The Alerus features an AstroTurf playing surface installed in 2013 that allows for rapid field conversion, with a playing surface that has no seams. Locker rooms are adorned in UND colors and are dividable into four 25-locker sections. There are also dressing rooms for coaches and officials. State-of-the-art scoreboards, 15-by-30 Daktronics video replay boards and a BOSE sound system make the stadium one of the most exciting places in the nation to watch Football Championship Subdivision football."

Really hesitant to post this because I do not want us to get ahead of ourselves. We will have our hands full with N.C. A&T and unless there is some change in our QB situation, we are not likely to see the Alerus Center this year.
