He deserves, and I hope he gets, a bigger job soon. Just doesn't have the name recognition by fans. But he may get Wake into their 3rd straight bowl. Remarkable. 2 tough games left needs to win 1. Wake is arguably hardest job in ACC. 6, 7, 8 wins there is relative and lot of fans don't recognize that. Plus Wake has been hit harder by injuries than anyone, like us a couple years ago. 12 scholarship players out for year I read. Lot more missing time.
He's done a great job and proven program builder everywhere he's gone. Still young too. I mean he basically got Mike London and Dino Babers better jobs than he has himself for what he laid at UR and BGSU. Don't think there will be too many jobs open this year in comparison to most years, we'll see, or ones that he could conceivably get. Maybe Colorado if they make a change and look outside the box and go East. Larger schools would be smart to take a hard look at Clawson, tho I'm skeptical many would.
