Nine of our 12 games have been against the worst quarter of teams and we still have a losing record. Unbelievable.
Thanks B!! I have been tossing and turning all night, now I can go to sleep.Yea, but Ulla and VT4700 say everything is fine. Also, Mooney says the junior class next year is the best class in school history. Rest easy Spider fans.
Looks like scheduling light OOC paid huge dividends.Nine of our 12 games have been against the worst quarter of teams and we still have a losing record. Unbelievable.
Like Enron-type dividends?Looks like scheduling light OOC paid huge dividends.
Since we are talking about cupcakes
A lot of bad OOC Schedules according to KenPom...I think we all agree that we stink and VA Tech is the only team that might play a worse OOC schedule than ours. Why was there an article about how strange it was for us to play South Alabama, when there was no article calling out Tech for scheduling 1-win Maryland Eastern Shore? At least in football they usually schedule 1 decent OOC team before they play a bunch of cupcakes.
St. Peter’s got up for the crabbersHampton gave it their best shot, but couldn't quite pull off the upset of mighty St. Peter's.

team rankings; apparently and inadvertently I went to strength of schedule instead of predictive ranking. the numbers should have been Ball St. 74, Pur 18, Penn St 62 and Northeastern 100. I apologize. My point is still the same; a CAA team with a 500 record can be in a position of at least hope for a post season bid. Weak out of conference scheduling and poor performance leaves us where we are.Not sure what you are looking at, but Northeastern is 104 in KenPom's ratings
And that is why I grouped them that way.The thing is that all those guys at the top get to play each other. And all those guys at the bottom... get to play each other.

3 of the top 6 in the A-10 need to win away games against the top 6, if the A-10 is going to have any chance at 2 or 3 bids.
Yes, the Top 6 NET teams that are in the A-10...Only if those wins are top quadrant wins. It is more about where those teams end up ranked nationally according to the committee, and not so much about where they end up in our conference.

Home wins won’t mean much. Away 75 is Q1, 135 is Q2. There may be a few of those.I don't see anywhere close to six A-10 teams being in the top quadrant. So I think a lot of top 6 A - 10 wins are not going to mean as much this year.
