Pretty quiet around here. Someone recap things for me. How many of Rocco's recruits did we end up keeping? Seems like most of the class was new guys from Huesman, correct?

We lost seven of the nine Rocco commits...only Nicholson and Vinson stayed. We filled the void very nicely though.

Not surprisingly Coaches were enthusiastic about the kids we did sign and their films looked good. Coach said at the end he was hoping to have 6 or 7 walk-ons and 2-3 transfers in the next few weeks.
One interesting question with entire coaching staff there was about any improvement in special teams next season and Coach gave a very supportive and defensive answer with Legg obviously there. He also commended him for his recruiting efforts. Seems like Bacote was primarily responsible for flipping the states of Alabama and Tennessee / UTC recruits.
Plenty of chicken tenders.
Oh yeah, he also said with a big smile on his face re Lauletta and Johnson that we have two great Division 1 quarterbacks. The QB recruit, Tre Story from Alabama, is 6-2, 190, has a strong arm and can really run. He was offered by Army. Coach H said he is a big believer in redshirting, pointing out that only one starter on the 2008 NC team (Josh Vaughn, Hermitage) did not redshirt. Only a significant contributor will play as a freshman.
Molivamaniac, you need to come up here for UD vs Tech that's all I can tell you. I've got a place for Spider fans to stay and y'all will have a damn good time on me.
Speaking of good times, I sat 3 rows away from the "snow storm" at the game downtown last night.
Can't say we have that going on here but maybe if you're interested. I can take you to a great bar scene and a beat down of Rocco up here in Blacksburg next year.
VT, does you dad stay in touch with the coaches and others involved in the program?
With all the coaching changes over the years I don't think with people in the program. He did keep in touch with coach Hansen because he was the main guy who recruited him and also with Ken Hart. He does still keep in touch with a lot of the guys he played with and some are among our very best family friends.
