I still think it looks like something that came out of a Crackerjack box. If we are at less than .500 in these uniforms this year, I want to go back to a dark blue with "Richmond" on the front. These have NOT been lucky uniforms.

I'm not a fan of the winged stripes on the shorts. Also, I don't like the little holes/dots of the jersey. I give this jersey a 4/10

I'm a fan of having the boatwright tower in the background on the backside of the jersey. Similar to what Duke did with the chapel they have (link of pic below).

Except I wouldn't want the boatwright tower filling up the entire back of the jersey, just the middle behind the number and name.

I also the blue jersey with the cursive Richmond. These new Nike jerseys are "eh"

You think they like the wings on the shorts? I'd give them more credit for taste than that. The red uni was bad to begin with and it just got worse. Also not all of us have reached that preconceived age of red sweaterness. But I love those guys and hope to be one some day.

Apparently the winged stripes are a Nike default feature for sweat absorption. You wipe your palms on them.
I guess we didn’t opt out.

I think the jersey holes are likely a wicking feature as well, but I don’t know.

Is this a standard Nike red template that they’re using? It seems Nike is doing these weird patterns on a lot of their stuff, not just in hoops (see USA Olympic hockey jerseys 2018 for example).

Most of the time we lose in these unis. Go back to the Blue with Richmond in script across the front. Remember The Great One, Dick Tarrant said he loves to "win in the blue!'

I agree! Why would we wear the same style of uniform that we wore when we got crushed by Kansas and our players were attacked by those Kansas thugs pre game?
