New OC?

I hope that Rocco and our AD are looking at some of the staffs that are left behind when a head coach is let go. Sometimes there are some outstanding coaches (and sometimes a good head coach who used to be a good OC) who become available only because they were better as an OC than as a HC. Sometimes OCs become available in this same way, because their HC got canned.
I believe we have hired a few good assistants in this way, thanks to Danny not being threatened by having former HC's on his staff! Best of luck in finding a really good one! FYI. I feel that this OC hire could be the key one that gets us to that championship game, so taking some time may be a good way to go.

Even though he is a defensive guy,how about Al Groh.He knows us,he knows all the coaches.A reversal of teacher working for student.His insights into our game planning during his broadcasts of our recent games was uncanny.Not sure that Danny could harness his ego.
based on comments made to me by people i trust and believe in, think grogh would be a disaster and someone we might not like to have around our program.
