I am disgusted by Biden's open borders policies. We must never forget those whose lives have been taken, because of harm caused them by Bidens immigration disaster.

Jocelyn Nungaray’s murder in north Houston, Texas on June 12, 2024. She was found strangled to death in a creek. Her killers were criminals from Venezuela. One crossed into Texas on May 28, 2024, the other in March 2024. Both were released into this country at El Paso, Texas.

Laken Riley was 22 year old nursing student who was killed on February 22, 2024 by José Antonio Ibarra. Ibarra is a 26-year-old Venezuelan who had entered the United States illegally. Ms. Riley died from blunt force trauma and asphyxiation. She was so brutalized, her head was crushed and mangled. Nice

A detestably blight on the Biden/Harris Administration. As said before, this Admin's policy on border security borders on treason. Not just waving through criminals, but losing 10s of thousands of children.

The VP speech today is jaw dropping considering she and the Prez have had almost 4 years to solve the problems she describes. She acts as though she rejects everything they have championed for years.

Remind me again who killed the bipartisan border bill earlier this year, and why.

Eagerly awaiting your thread displaying outrage over the hundreds and hundreds of innocent US citizens murdered in this country every year by AR-14s and other unnecessary guns.
 
The "bipartisan bill" would have allowed 5,000 illegal entries per day before triggering a clamp down. Translates to over 1.8 million per year. Sound like a reasonable proposition? That's the goal? How about zero? Why not follow existing law?

When President Biden finally did what he said he couldn't and clamped down on illegal immigration through executive order (one he could have left in place from his predecessor) illegal entries dropped drastically.

Agree with the AR sentiment. Grew up around guns. Have no fear for me, if handled in a safe mode. It was drubbed into my head as a kid. Responsible Dad, not everyone has one. Own many guns.

On the other hand, see no place or reason for these AR type weapons. See no reason for bump stocks which allow semi automatics to fire as automatics, which are illegal. There is common ground to be pursued.

You must not have read the bill. It did not allow 5,000 illegal entries per day. At 5,000 encounters on any given day, the border would have been automatically shut down. Do some fact checking from reliable sources and don't listen to what Trump and his cult followers said.

Any harm to any US citizen by someone who is not legally entitled to be in the country is a failure of our government, regardless of party.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The last of three suspects charged in the death of a Memphis pastor pleaded guilty Tuesday to second-degree murder.

Eduard Rodgriguez-Tabora pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Dr. Autura Eason-Williams, a Memphis pastor who was killed in her own driveway during a carjacking in 2022.

Tabora will have to serve 20 years in prison.


The Shelby County District Attorney’s Office said that his information has been turned over to Immigration and Customs for deportation to his native country, Honduras.

Tabora will serve his sentence in Tennessee before being deported.

Eason-Williams was in her driveway on Whitehaven Lane when a car with two suspects pulled up, according to a statement read in court by prosecutors.

I don't disagree at all but why single out illegal immigrants vs harm done to any citizen by anyone, regardless of immigration status?

Any population has its share of bad actors but let's assume we either completely choke off all immigration, including your contributor Musk, or so thoroughly vet incoming legal immigrants that they commit no "death, muder and mayhem" (an impossibility but I'm rolling here). Now what is done with all the "death, muder and mayhem" from the existing citizen base? Is that deemed unavoidable or is it a failure of government as well?

I suggest that this country start by enforcing existing laws. Seems simple.

Fair question. I agree harm to any citizen regardless of perpetrator's status is unacceptable.

Point is illegal aliens have no entitlement to be in the country in contrast to citizens, green card holders, those with visas of any sort and legal immigrants. Let's deal with the internal reprobates rather than compounding the problem by willfully allowing a horde of largely unvetted folks to cross the border illegally. A blight on this Administration.
