Money- Red or black?

So, do the playoffs make us money or cost us money?
I've read where some of the Bigs actually loose a lot of money
on bowls.
To put it simply-what's the bottom line, red ot black?

This year it was neutral. Tickets sold v WM covered costs. NCAA reimburses travel costs to road games.
