MLAX 2026-Title Contenders

I would be shocked to see Chemotti leave for any team other than Duke, and hopefully he wins enough here and has built such a strong connection at Richmond, he will be willing to turn down Duke after their coach retires in a few years.

or we have our choice of the next up and coming coaches.

No surprise Chemotti is listed as Penn choice because he may well be the best lacrosse coach in the USA. Hopefully and expect he will continue as our coach. Am certain PQ has his ear.................

I like you SF but don't think that opinion will carry much weight unless you can figure out a way to be on the Crosse Commission podcast!

“Inside Lacrosse has learned of at least seven candidates who will interview for the position: Boston U head coach Ryan Polley and Saint Joseph’s head coach Taylor Wray, as well as Notre Dame assistants Ryan Wellner and Chris Wojcik, Maryland assistant Jesse Bernhardt, Virginia assistant Kevin Cassese and Princeton assistant Jim Mitchell.

In addition to those seven, IL has learned of another head coach who was contacted but declined to proceed with the interview process.

Glad to see Chemotti turn it down. Richmond is arguably a better program than Penn. We’re on the up-and-up of becoming a national contender every year.
