If we win tomorrow night it looks like Miami will be coming our way. Let's take care of business and win another game. Let's go Spiders!

hard to get an ACC team to visit you, so we need to take care of business tomorrow. Laranaga will know the RC. But will look new to him also.

all of ;the posts says if --- but I agree let's win Sunday first a Pac12 and then an ACC in the Robins Center back to back, that's what we all want

Also, didn't we establish that posters looking ahead doesn't matter. Its not like we have to prepare for ASU. But very excited to potentially see Miami

Pomeroy rankings have UR at 52, Miami at 57, and Arizona State at 59. Tough road leading to MSG, but two games at home against quality opponents. Both should be sellouts. Maybe some Ram fans even come.

Very difficult to sell out postseason games, because they were not on anyone's calendar until a few days earlier. I'd be very happy if we get 6,000 fans there tomorrow night with the same energy as the crowd the other night. If we win, it would be great to see 5,000 + there for the weeknight game vs. Miami.

8legger, the 'operative' word, is 'should'. You may well be right, but if there are real basketball fans in the Richmond area, I'd have thought they would want to see these games. Of course, it's easier now, to stay home and watch it on TV, which didn't use to be the case. It's rare that we have these kinds of OOC games at RC. 5k or 6k enthusiastic fans would be good, sellouts would be better

Hurricanes played Saturday at noon in Miami. They have us on for Tuesday night.A little tight for us given more down time for Miami. They will be at RC tomorrow afternoon working out.

I'd be ok if Rhody won here bit think we want Stanford if we prefer the 7pm slot on Tuesday to the 9pm slot. Stanford would host Vandy if they win (West coast).

That fiasco was more recent than that...2012 and Larranaga wasn't there anymore.

And interestingly, we've never faced Miami.

Haven't seen them play much this year, but they are interesting. Played a lot of good teams and did very well overall, especially on the road. A few very curious results, like getting blown out at home by Eastern Kentucky. They play a couple small guards too, both 5-11, but their top scorer is a 6-5 guard similar to some of the guys we saw from ASU tonight.

They don't really rebound (only 33 per game, just half a rebound more than their opponents). They have a 7-footer who averages 10 rpg, but they have no one else who averages even 5 a game, which is kind of shocking to me.

One of those small guards, Angel Rodriguez, was their second leading scorer this year but didn't play vs. Alabama because of an injured wrist. Reading on Twitter, it sounds like he is questionable at best to play vs. us because he hasn't picked up a ball in two days.

I did catch half their game the other day, and Rodriguez's replacement, Manu Lecomte, seemed pretty skilled.

I'd say if there's no Rodriguez and we keep the big guy from dominating us, we have a chance to crash the boards a little and win this one with second-chance points. But it will be a pretty big test for us. Looking forward to it.

Eight, what's a second chance point? I don't think we do second chance points. :)

One more win and we can make it back to New York. Let's take care of business on Tuesday night against Miami. Let's Go Spiders! Keep on winning!

We have a better winning percentage in MSG than the RC this season...

See they have a transfer from Niagara too. They must have been building a heck of a team when you consider TJ and the kid from Auburn also left.

Niagara also lost one to Tennessee State and a pair who followed Mihalich to Hofstra in the past few seasons.

Looks like we have sold roughly 5,500 tickets for tomorrow night already. Hopefully we'll get a near sellout in there. If it has the intensity of last night's crowd, it will make a huge difference. Buy more tickets!

8Legger, hopefully that means 5500 or more seats filled. No matter what, everyone's voices must be ready to be LOUD!!!!!!!!

I just hope it's the type of crowd that sneaks a roadie into its pocket before leaving the house. Let's leave the scrabble and knitting needles home again.

Let's go.

Great game yesterday; back this morning in time to work a few hours today. Can't wait to drive down again tomorrow afternoon. Let's get crazy and support our Spiders! Doggone it! If the Ulla can drive from outside of Baltimore to every game, you locals can surely come out and support our boys in their last home game! Let's hear it for "One Richmond"!

Miami has played 2 NIT games at home(attendance)

NC Central-1,500

Alabama-1,900

They will be a bit surprised by the decibel readings tomorrow night.

32. They beat Duke in Cameron. Think we can show the "crazies" how it's done. :)

Looking forward to the crowd, the noise and the excitement. This UR team seems to feed off of it. The least we can do is give them all they can eat!!!

Go Spiders!!!!

Looks like we sold another 600 tickets or so tonight. About 6100 have been sold. Some more movement tomorrow and a nice walk-up crowd, and we will be close to a sellout.
