Good little article on Hurley and Uconn. His teams at URI had it, it is a culture. Do we have it?

We have not had it for many years. The Anderson/Gonzo/Smitty/Geriot group had it in spades. We have had some tough individuals (K0, Ced, etc.) but not a mentally tough core group since 2011. Not something our program is known for, at least not since The Great Dick retired.

Completely agree. DMB was our toughness leader last year and one of the many reasons we are going to miss him greatly. It will be interesting to see who steps up in being our mentality tough leaders. I think Grant has the potential, maybe Jacob. It won't be Sherod, not his mindset. Also not Mooney's mindset which is why we need to have a couple players take the mantle.
