So last year, I went to the @ GMU game which was the last game of the season - Miserable cold and rainy day and the game was even worse and sadly was the first of our final 3 losses.

I think we come together and win on Saturday after making progress at times the last two games. Spiders 73-Patriots 68.

hah -my first breakdown on this forum was when I was at the Charleston game in Nov/Dec of '22 when we disintegrated in OT after coming back from 20 or so in regulation - had to delete some posts the next morning and still recall in a grumpy mood talking to Will Gipe's very nice dad at the hotel bar after the game.

Any chance of a Hunt appearance today or even next week? If I remember correctly the original injury announcement would have him potentially back right before the season ended, but I don't remember hearing any updates on if he's just done or expected to try to play one more time (including haven't exactly been as plugged in as usual...).

Moon spoke to this a few weeks ago. He did not see Hunt or GW3 returning. But didn't close door on Hunt bc it's Hunt. I would not either. Buit honestly if he's got a decent chance at next week I'd look to get him in today for a few to start getting his legs and knock off some rust. First game back as an elimination game & other guys reacclimating to how they play off him is difficult.

btw I think we are now locked into playing Davidson in 1 of the pillow fight games.

Davidson has lost 4 in a row...6 of 7....and beat us twice in reg season. Per spiderstudent17...HUGE advantage Richmond. Let's look ahead to round 2 so we can win that one & then get VCU in quarters and knock them out of NCAA bid, which I also expect because they'd have to beat us 3 times in a season too! Our path is opening up.

All seems very logical and doable. With our depth, 5 games in 5 days seems only a small hurdle. Games with D3 teams during the season will pay dividends in the tourney.
