Offense has been rough, but defense has looked good. Walz and Tanner especially.
B Artis is not good and should only shoot if wide open (and maybe not even then, unless it’s a layup). 26% from 3 on the year and 34% overall, extremely bad. Understand injuries have affected the guard rotation but at this point I’d even consider giving Graham a look instead.
Got to give the guys credit for not rolling over and giving up, let's go win this thing

2 of the worst defensive possessions ever at the end of the game by both teams.
The one time Mooney should’ve taken a time out after our made basket to set up our defense and he didn’t do it.
Think we were out of timeouts. I only put on game at very end but thought announcers said so when he took 1 with 23 secs left.
Not that this game matters at all, but about to go 0-4 in OT games this year. Lost several more close possession games in regulation this year too. Complete 180 in terms of clutchness compared to last years team

I put Dayton and VCU on equal footing of stature in the conference, I know Dayton has lost quite a bit more games than they expected this season but still. How were we able to hang with Dayton in their arena and playing VCU we look like we need our diaper changed.
Sorry I was thinking of regulation. That is when he took final w 23 secs. And got TO’s back in OT. Yeah not taking it there was un Mooney like. He was right next to ref too. Can’t tell for sure if trying to take by that replay but doesn’t look like it.
VCU is a much better team this year than Dayton in my opinion. Also VCU has a better coach even though Anthony Grant is a great man and phenomenal recruiter. It may be the strongest VCU team in a decade - a good draw and I could see them playing the 2nd weekend.

Walz was a champ today .. Dusan was a star on offense and an anti-star on defense.
Thought Tanner should have been in more in OT for rebounding.The technique by Roche, Nescovic and D’Entremont
is awful.

Best effort I’ve seen this season. Played their hearts out. A little better shooting in regulation and we’d have won. Too many missed 3 point shots.
Many missed threes plus at least some offensive rebounds equals at least a few second shots chances.
