After listening to the interviews with Mooney, ShawnDre and Terry, I am again attempting to curb my enthusiasm about Marshall. Though each was asked specifically about him, they were all very high on his shooting ability, and rebounding. With the passing ability of Cline and Terry, it would seem that Wood would have much opportunity to get easy baskets as well. I have seen Mooney mention him as a strong rebounder a couple times now. Not quite sure where the minutes will come from, but it seems that he has size and skill set to play all three front court positions. He didn't set the world on fire at Tech, but he did get two years of experience playing in the ACC. In his defense, the coaching situation was not the greatest during his time in Hokieland either. It would seem that this is an ideal situation with our offense and system for Marshall to shine. I really liked his game coming out of high school and pretty sure Beilein offered him at Michigan. Lot of potential. Hopefully this is the situation he needs to put it all together. Not sure his ball handling ability? I know Terry's is good for his size. Might we see some front court time with TA, Cline and Marshall on the court together?
